About us

Tim was born in Wuerzburg, Germany and grew up in Schweinfurt. When he was 17 years old he spent one year abroad in Maryland, USA. His affinity to the US made him pursue a career there and after finishing medical school in Regensburg, Germany, he applied for a residency in Pediatrics in the US and was accepted at Miami Children’s Hospital (MCH).

Gisselle was born in Glenridge, New Jersey, spent some years in Ecuador as a child and then grew up in Boca Raton, Florida. She went to Nursing School at the University of Miami and started working as a Pediatric Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Miami Children’s Hospital.

As a second year resident during a rotation in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Tim met the beautiful nurse Gisselle who was  finishing up her last month at Miami Children’s to then get started on her training to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Tim asked her out and the two had an immediate connection.  About 20 months later Tim asked Gisselle to marry him and she said “yes”. The rest is history.
